Against the background of building ecological civilization, in the process of promoting “multi-plan integration”, the urban ecological network planning, based on “eco-integrated city” concept and by virtue of integrating spatial resources, grasps the trend of planning reform and explores a new spatial growth pattern that aims to build a good structure and form for construction land, so as to coordinate the needs for both urban -rural socio-economic development and ecological protection. Ecological connections should be built in various spaces through three major construction techniques of connectivity, infiltration, and balance. Meanwhile, a networked urban ecological space system with a reasonable structure, stable system, complete function, and space coupling should be built through the five technical procedures of identification, evaluation, construction, control, and implementation, which can guide the optimization of overall urban form and environmental pattern, and ultimately realize the harmony and unity between ecologicalization and urbanization.
