Protection of Huizhou Architecture and Inheritance and Innovation of Cultural Heritage, directed by the team of Prof. XuanWei was selected as an Excellent Teaching CasesfromChina Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC).
The case collection of CDGDCaims to pool wisdom and focus on the key issues of the times so to develop high-quality, leading teaching caseswhich can reflect the characteristics of the times. This collection consists of four themes, which are "Beautiful China", "China's intelligent manufacturing", "China's Science and Technology Innovation" and " Chinese Cultural Inheritance”. 798 cases are recommended by 184 universities and institutions, covering 62 professional degree categories.
The College of Architecture and Art actively organized andprepared for this applicationand chose the theme of "Chinese Cultural Inheritance”.Theselected teaching case integrates theories and practices of architecture, art, design, urban andrural planning, landscape architecture and other disciplines to carry out a pedagogical exploration based on multi-perspective and cross-disciplinary integration. The success of this selection is another important achievement of the discipline as well as the professional construction and development of the college.
