On May 17, the "Architectural Students" Foundation Series Scholarship Awards Ceremony was held in the Lecture Hall of the Science and Education Building of Fei-Cui Lake Campus. Mr. Chen Gang, deputy secretary ofHFUT’s party committee, representatives of the "Architectural Students" Foundation, alumni representatives, and HefeiPanshiIntelligent Technology Co., Ltd. attended theceremony.Theceremony honors the winners of the 2022 "Architectural Students" Foundation Series Scholarship, the 2022"Panshi"Scholarship (Teaching) Grantees, the 2022-2023 academic year Communist Youth League work advanced collectives and advanced individuals for architecture and art students. The winners of the 2nd"Send Hearts to China,May Fourth Youth"classic recitation competition were commended.
Mr. Zhang Ming from Class of 1983((BArch), who is also the Chairman of the Architectural Students Foundation, jointly presented awards to the winners of the "Architecture Students" scholarship. In addition, Cao Lianggong, an alumnusProject, presented awards to the winners of the "Jiang Chuanzong Scholarship”. Other guests also presented medals and certificates to the winning groups and individuals.
Mr. Zhang Ming encouraged the studentsto inherit and carry forward the fine traditions of schools and colleges. In order to,keep forging ahead in theProject, andcontribute to a better life.
At the ceremony, Xuan Wei, Dean of the College of Architecture and Art, expressedhergratitude to the alumniwhoProjectandsupported thedevelopment of the college.She introduced the achievements of the college in discipline construction, talentdevelopment and scientific research in the past year, and place great expectationon and requirements for the students.Gao Yajing, an outstanding young student of HFUT and a 20th grade undergraduate of the college, made an exchange speech. Some class groups and college choirs also performed wonderful performances.
The "Architectural Students" Foundation Series Scholarship is funded and established by a number of outstanding alumni of the College of Architecture and Art of Hefei University of Technology, aiming to reward students with outstanding academic performance. Since 2008, 495Students fromCollege of Architecture and Arthave been awarded. This series of scholarships has also become the goal pursuit and honor symbol ofstudents. At this awards ceremony, representativesalumni of theProjectwereinvitedto present awards to the winners, which made the majority of architectural art students very much encouraged.
There were around 600 people participating in the event, which included the relevant persons in charge of theOffice of Student Affairs, the youth league committee,the Office of the Alumni Association, the architectural design institute (Group) Co., Ltd., the leadership team of theCollegeof Architecture and Artand representatives of teachers and students, participated in the event.
